Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

GhostGames (ghostgames.app) is a free library of browser games. This page explains what data we collect and how it's used.

Without an account

You can use GhostGames without logging in. Favourites, recently played games and your ratings are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We keep an anonymous, approximate count of people online and anonymous thumbs-up/down totals per game. These contain no personal information.

If you log in with Discord or Google

We receive your display name, email address and profile picture from the provider you choose. We use them only to show who you're signed in as and to save your favourites, recently played games and ratings to your account so they sync across devices. We never receive or store your Discord or Google password.

Where data is stored

Account data is stored with our authentication and database provider, Supabase. Each account can only read and change its own data.

Forms

If you use "Suggest a game" or "Report a broken game", the details you enter (and basic browser/device info for reports) are sent to us as a private Discord message by our GhostGames bot so we can respond.

Third-party games

Many games are hosted by other websites and shown inside our player. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and its data, contact us on our Discord server and we'll remove it. Clearing your browser data removes anything stored locally.
