About GTA V (browser port)

A WebAssembly port of Grand Theft Auto V running in the browser (now hosted on fiveplay.lol): Story Mode, or Sandbox free roam on the GTA V map with every weapon. Opens in GhostGames' own full-page player (the game needs a cross-origin-isolated page), with the site's own controls shown alongside.

Needs a keyboard and mouse, so it won't play properly on phones or tablets.

Tips

  • First load downloads several hundred MB of game data; it's cached afterwards.
  • Weak PC or 'Aw, Snap!' crashes? Use the low-graphics mode (?low=1) and close other tabs.
  • Desktop Chrome/Edge with a decent GPU recommended; not playable on phones.

Game not loading?

  • Reload the game: a fresh start fixes most stuck loading screens.
  • Chrome or Edge on PC work best. Turn off ad blockers and privacy shields for this site.
  • Click inside the game to give it keyboard and mouse focus. Press Esc to release the mouse.
